HOW TO EARN PATHFINDER PROFICIENCY SQUARE BADGES
- All requirements for a Pathfinder Proficiency Square Badge must be met in a safe manner.
- No one should attempt any of these Square Badges without appropriate equipment and knowledge.
- There are no set minimum or maximum ages to earn these awards. Adults are encouraged to complete all requirements of a Square Badge to master the material prior to passing it to others.
- The idea is to complete each of the requirements, to actually experience them, even if long ago, to earn the Square Badge.
- A Pathfinder is Trustworthy. You personally certify that you have completed the requirements. Thus, an adult who completed all of the requirements in the past has earned the Square Badge.
- Typically, a person teaching a Square Badge should have earned it first themselves. However, you can learn and earn a Square Badge from multiple sources over a long period, both human and recorded, including sources that did not not earn the Square Badge.
- There are no set minimum or maximum ages to teach a Square Badge. The very young may lack the teaching skills to help another person earn one that they have earned themselves. The same could be true of any age, Merely knowing the material does not mean that you can teach it. But regardless, you may be able to help.
- Each Square Badge represents experiences. Unless a requirement specifically asks just for a report, writing does not meet a requirement.
